Hinch Yourself Happy – Mrs Hinch (Audio Book Review)
Who in the UK hasn’t heard of the cleaning Guru Mrs Hinch?
Otherwise known as Sophie Hinchliffe, this young lady turned into a media sensation because of her love for cleaning, went viral and inevitably got a book deal.
It’s so easy to be cynical about a beautiful young woman’s success and it may seem like life was handed to her on a silver platter.
If you follow her account, you’ll know that’s not the case.
It’s on her Instagram Stories that Mrs Hinch shines.
She shares cleaning tips, takes delight in the small things in life and shares her bargains with the world.
What is it about?
Mrs Hinch’s book is an amalgamation of cleaning tips, her biography and a chance to escape for 10 minutes.
I listened to this book on Audible.
I’ve had an Audible account for a long time, and at various times tried to get into it but with an attention span of a goldfish and this challenge looming over my head, I knew I wanted to get through this book but I’m not able to read as much now.
So, I decided to try listening to Audiobooks on my commute into work and so far I really enjoyed it!
Back to the Book
It’s an easy, breezy listen as Mrs Hinch takes us through her favourite cleaning tips, which, if you follow her Instagram account are pretty much the same but just in one place.
It was nice to find out a bit more about the woman behind the brand and hear how she met Jamie, her husband, and how she became the woman she is.
As a fellow anxiety sufferer, I could relate to a lot of what Sophie was talking about when it came to coping with mental health.
Would I recommend it?
Only if you’re already a Mrs Hinch fan.
If you’ve got no clue who the woman is, it won’t make sense but I really enjoyed listening to Sophie narrate and it was a really enjoyable book.
I’d recommend this book for sure!
